Las Vegas is a must – Part 2

The game is on; you have finally decided to go to Las Vegas and are now looking around for hotels or a cool place to stay.

Tip 4 – If you have a large budget

So you are going to Las Vegas, and you have a good budget or at least spending this money does not make you feel bad. This is the state you want to be in when you have cash and is not constantly worrying that you are spending too much. Even if it is not hard to live cheap in Las Vegas, there are a lot of things that cost money all the time.

Even if it is not hard to live cheap in Las Vegas, there are a lot of things that cost money all the time.

The hotels you should look at are the following:

Bellagio

Is still considered the best hotel in Las Vegas, it is one of the best locations, in the middle of the strip and suits your budget very well. The service is amazing and many good restaurants. Even the regular café has a really high standard. The rooms are amazing, but kind of small unless you get a small suite or a large room.

Here you can also get good deals if you are looking for freebies or VIP gifts you do have to have a pretty large average bet when you play, will speak about that more in the last episode about Las Vegas. It also have the best poker room in the city so if you like high stakes on no limit or limit, this is the best place. They also have very good daily tournaments. If you love Black Jack, make sure it has a table giving 3 to 2 for black jacks. Never play at a table that pays 6 to 5.

Cosmopolitan

This hotel is still also one of the better ones, with a very young feel for it. They have very nice balconies and high standard rooms, and I have also heard that you can get very good deals if you guarantee some good game play at their casinos. They also have one of the best night clubs in town called Marquee. Make sure you get your tickets ahead of time, the line can be pretty bad otherwise

Wynn and Encore

These two hotels actually have a way higher standard than all other hotels in the city, but the location is a little bit off if you want to be in a very central location. But if you have a car, than that does not matter and they do have a very easy accessible parking space. This is a hotel where you could actually stay for a whole week and never leave without problem, but that is not how Vegas works, walking around is part of the Las Vegas Experience

The Palms

This newly renovated of strip hotel is a very good Hotel if you want to live like a king for a few days. You have the coolest suites and great rooms. Here you can get really good deals if you decide to play hard and get comps. Here it is pretty simple to get free food and night club deals if you rank your play. Always make sure that you talk to a VIP representative. This hotel can also be good for a smaller budget.

Other good hotels for a large budget are:

  • Venetian
  • City Center
  • MGM Grand

Tip 5 – If you have a smaller budget and I don’t want to spend too much

Even if you have a small budget and you do care about your spending, there are many hotels that are worth your booking. But beware of resort fee´s, almost all hotels have a resort fee and it ranges from 7$ per day, up to 45$ per day for the top tier places.

The hotels you should look at are the following:

Golden Nugget

Like an old luxury hotel, but sometimes you can get really good deals here. This is one of the classic Vegas hotels. This is the best property in Down Town Las Vegas. If you book this hotel, I would also rent a car. The distance to the upper strip is pretty far, and taxis are not cheap in Las Vegas.

Flamingo Las Vegas Resort

This hotel is a big hotel with many cheap rooms and a perfect central location. They have remodeled many rooms and here you can get really cheap deals during off season. This would be my choice if I am on a budget.

Luxor

This is the famous Egyptian style hotel and they always have cheap rooms and you are on the southern tip of Las Vegas. They also have easy access to MGM and Mandalay Bay and public train that goes to Bellagio and City Center for a small fee. Cool hotels, but pretty boring hotel rooms.

Finally if you are looking to stay for a month or longer I would not stay in a hotel. Rent a car and rent a house instead, you can find really cool houses in Las Vegas.

I will tell you more about game play and how to get the good deals in the last episode of this series.

See you soon
